Olympique Lyon coach Bruno Genesio cannot guarantee Nabil Fekir will stay this month.

Speaking after their friendly with Chelsea, Genesio acknowledged Fekir's future remains clouded as both the Blues and Liverpool continue to be linked with the OL captain.

The coach said, "For now it's too early to tell you that Nabil Fekir will stay.

"He had expressed the wish to leave late last season. He resumed training yesterday and was happy to resume with us. Maybe opportunities can happen before the end of the transfer window. We will react when the time comes.

"For now, he is in Lyon, he is a player of Olympique Lyonnais and under contract with us. I'm counting on him completely."
