Olympique Lyon chief Bernard Lacombe has confirmed their interest in re-signing Juventus midfielder Tiago.

"I spoke with the player during the holidays," Lacombe explained to Tuttosport. "We exchanged greetings and hypothesised.

"If he returned, he would have the advantage of being able to play in the Champions League.

"He left here on very good terms and with our highest regards as a player and as a man.

"If Juventus wanted to sell him, and I think that they do, we would be ready to talk to them and to take advantage of the opportunity."
