Olympique Lyon captain Nabil Fekir insists he's accepted missing out on a move to Liverpool.

Fekir saw a move to Liverpool collapse before the World Cup.

"Yes, the missed transfer to Liverpool is totally digested. These are things that happen. It's like that. You need to go forward. It's ancient history," he said.

"I heard several things. The real reason is that they (Liverpool) only know it."

Fekir also said: "Like every season, we want to try to do the maximum in the league. The podium is a goal of the club. After there is PSG, a great team with great players, we know that it will be complicated. You have to play all the competitions thoroughly."
