Olympique Lyon ace Nabil Fekir is adamant his knee is as good as ever after a mooted failed medical saw a move to Liverpool fall through.
On Monday Fekir's agent Jean-Pierre Bernes suggested the deal isn't completely dead in the water just yet.
Asked why the transfer broke down on LCI, Bernes said: "He didn't sign because um... it is not over! This is not the end of the story."
Fekir was then asked about the transfer saga in a France press conference, in which he revealed he recently met with the Lyon chairman.
He said: "It was great to see Jean-Michel Aulas yesterday at Istra [base camp] but we did not at all discuss my situation at Lyon."
In response to being asked about the claim Liverpool were trying to sign him for less than first agreed, following his medical, he replied with a smirk: "You know I am here with France, I am happy, and I am not here to discuss my personal situation. We will see about all that later."
He added: "My knee is super-good. We work a lot on it, we reinforce it. But I honestly feel like before my injury."
