Olympique Lyon star Karim Benzema has rejected an offer from Chelsea.

The People says sources close to Benzema reveal he is settled at Lyon and will play for one or even two more years in France before picking his next club.

Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson has also been linked with a move for the highly-rated Benzema, but Chelsea were doing a lot of homework in private - and realised he was not going to move this summer, so their search went elsewhere.
