David De Gea will seek a Manchester United exit if Louis van Gaal remains as manager this summer.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Spanish goalkeeper is disillusioned under the Dutchman and will push for a departure in the next transfer window if no managerial change is made.
It is understood that sources have told the Mail that the 25-year-old is eager to make the move to Real Madrid if van Gaal stays and will actively force a transfer having missed out on a return to his home city last summer.
De Gea won his third successive United Player of the Year award this season but has more lofty ambitions from a team success viewpoint which he feels cannot be met while van Gaal is in charge.
