Luzern midfielder Bozanic open to another England stint

Oliver Bozanic says he would be prepared to again try his luck in England.

The 25-year old Australian midfielder is currently contracted to Swiss club FC Luzern but suggests he could be persuaded to head back to England where he spent time with Reading between 2007 and 2010.

Bozanic never played at first team level for the Royals but experienced loan spells at lower league clubs Woking, Cheltenham Town and Aldershot Town and admits he would be open to a return to the UK.

"I would love to go back to England one day and give it another shot," said Bozanic who is preparing with the Australian national team for the 2014 World Cup.

"I'd like to give it a second go because the hunger is still there. A lot can happen - especially with the World Cup so close now - and you never know what the future holds.

"It is never easy coming to Europe and making an impression. The Swiss League is getting stronger now with two Champions League spots and at Luzern we're now in the qualifying rounds for next season's Europa League.

"I have a contract until the end of next season and if I can do well then maybe some possibilities will open up for me beyond that."

Former Central Coast Mariners star Bozanic joined Luzern in June 2013 and has since scored six goals in 31 appearances for the Swiss Super League outfit.
