Luton snap up Derby striker Peschisolido

Luton Town have snapped up freed Derby County striker Paul Peschisolido on a one-year deal.

Peschisolido, 36, was without a club after being released by Derby at the end of last season, but has now agreed to become Hatters boss Kevin Blackwell's sixth signing of the summer.

Peschisolido and Blackwell worked together at Sheffield United between 2001 and 2004, when Blackwell was assistant to manager Neil Warnock.

The Canadian follows fellow summer captures Dave Edwards, Alan Goodall, Darren Currie, Paul Furlong and Chris Perry into Kenilworth Road.
