Former Fiorentina goalkeeper Cristian Lupatelli is delighted with his move to Cagliari.

"I haven't been able to play since January," said Lupatelli, "but I am in great shape and just need to adjust to the pace of first team football.

"I grabbed this opportunity as soon as it came about. Cagliari is an important club in Serie A."
