Aston Villa fullback Luke Young was happy to get on the scoresheet in their victory over Blackburn Rovers.

He told AVTV: "It was nice to get a goal. I'm not in the side to do that but I'm not complaining.

"I didn't know much about it. It was coming up to half-time so I thought I would take a gamble. And luckily the ball came off my chest and then my knee and went in.

"It came at a vital time. It changed the complexion of the game. We went in at half-time a bit more positive and we regrouped and improved to win the game."
