Luke Young grateful to Villa teammates

Luke Young has revealed he's settled quickly at Aston Villa thanks to his teammates.

"I'm all settled now in Solihull in a nice little cul-de-sac right next door to Curtis Davies, so I'm not sure if he's too happy about that!" former Middlesbrough fullback Young told the Sunday Mercury.

"He keeps texting me to put the bins out on a Sunday night because I keep forgetting.

"It's quite handy having him there, otherwise I'd have a stack full of black bags.

"Steve Sidwell lives the other side of Curtis. The joke when we all came out of our houses together the other week was that we should change the street name to Aston Villa Close.

"We all have a little bit of a laugh about it and we all pop into each other's houses from time to time.

"Having them living next to me has helped me settle in definitely. It's a great club to be at.

"All the lads get on really well. It helps when you're winning football matches because you all want to come in to training and have a laugh together and things have been going well for us for most of the season so far."
