Luke Shaw has extended his contract at Manchester United.

Shaw is currently on the way back from an ankle ligament injury and building fitness playing for the under-23s.

The left-back's contract was due to end in 2018 and the club have now exercised the clause to extend his deal until 2019.

However, Shaw's future with United remains clouded.

The Mirror says manager Jose Mourinho will make a decision on Shaw's long-term future towards the end of the year.
