Luke Shaw says his return to Manchester United training is "going really well".

The 20-year-old left-back has been working hard on his rehabilitation since suffering a double fracture of the leg during the Champions League defeat at PSV Eindhoven back in September.

Juan Mata welcomed Shaw's return to training and the manager spoke about his delight at a recent press conference, although the man himself had remained quiet on his own recovery.

That was until Monday night, when the England international used his personal Instagram account to post an image of himself alongside several Reds team-mates in Champions League action, with the caption: “Training is going really well outside. Can't wait to be back on the pitch with the team."
