Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly concerned the Toffees' unwillingness to sell this summer could lead to a nasty stand-off at Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mirror.
Propped up by the financial investment of new majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, Everton have made it clear they have no intention of selling Belgium international Lukaku during the transfer window.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain are among a host of top European clubs interested in the £50million-rated striker.
Lukaku has publicly stated he does 'not want a fight' over his future, but is also understood to be determined to play Champions League football next season, something Everton cannot offer the 22-year-old.
Lukaku is now believed to be bracing himself for a turbulent summer marred by uncertainty over his playing future.
