Luka Modric insists he wants to stay with Real Madrid.

The midfielder has won three Champions League titles, sparking talk he wants a fresh challenge.

The Croatian is still in his native Zadar as he prepares to return for pre-season.

"When you win something, once, twice, three times, and you have that feeling... it pushes you forward again," he said.

"You want to win more, and more and more.

"We are in a club that always wants to be the best, wants to win everything possible, and the players have the same thoughts."
