Former Portugal captain, Luis Figo has signed-up with Dafabet to become the Asian gaming company's Ambassador for their World Cup Campaign this year.
At an international level, Figo captained Portugal to the Semi-Final of the 2006 World Cup staged in Germany. In total he was awarded 127 International caps by his country and scored a total 32 goals. At Club level he began his career at Sporting Lisbon before transferring to European giants Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan. In total he made a 579 club appearances, scoring 91 goals.
His glittering career spanning 25 years saw him win numerous prestigious titles including La Liga, Serie A and the Champions League as well as numerous domestic cup victories.
As an individual in 2000 he lifted the Ballon d'Or and won the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2001. He is now in the FIFA 100 list of best players of all time.
