Real Madrid hero Luis Figo insists the club will survive without Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal captain has again cast doubt over his future in Madrid after comments made following their Champions League final triumph.
Asked about his countryman, Figo stated: "All Madridistas would like Cristiano to continue, but one day Cristiano will stop playing and Madrid will remain the best in the world."
Figo was also asked about the resignation of former teammate Zinedine Zidane as head coach at Real.
He added: "It's a surprise because he has just won a Champions League, they are personal decisions that you think are the best for Real Madrid."
