New Barcelona B coach Luis Enrique has urged fans to end their row with president Joan Laporta.

Barca's preparations for the new season have been rocked by the vote of no confidence against Laporta lodged by fans on Sunday.

Former club captain Luis Enrique appealed: "We know how difficult it is to be involved with this club. We need calm because within two years there will be elections. I would like the climate to be different, calmer, and easier to work in.

"The atmosphere is not the best when the tension grows."
