Barcelona coach Luis Enrique wants a midfield replacement found for Xavi.

Xavi left Barca last week for Qatar's Al Sadd.

Sport says Enrique approved the signing of Sevilla fullback Aleix Vidal and he's also requested a midfield addition.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is a top target, along with Barca's priority signing, Paul Pogba of Juventus.

However, AS Monaco powerhouse Geoffrey Kondogbia is also being discussed.

Any new signing will have to wait until January 2016 to register with Barca due to this summer's transfer ban.
