England manager Sam Allardyce believes that a lucky coin given to him by a travelling supporter helped his team secure all three points against Slovakia in World Cup qualifying on Sunday.
The Three Lions needed a 95th-winner from Adam Lallana to secure a 1-0 win over the hosts who had been reduced to ten men when Martin Skrtel was sent off.
"A father and a son in a wheelchair came to the hotel this morning and asked if it was okay to have a picture with his son," said the England manager.
"When we finished he said: 'Let me give you a lucky coin'. Here it is. I had it with me in my pocket, we won, so it'll stay with me.
"I'm not really superstitious but I'm going to keep it. It's got us a last minute winner. I wonder how far it will take us."
