Lucio is enjoying his first season under inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.
The Brazil international centre-back has been crucial to Inter's success since his arrival from Bayern Munich last summer.
Speaking to UEFA.com, Lucio said: "Mourinho has definitely transmitted calm and is a great motivation to the players, and that's definitely crucial.
"People make us believe in our dreams, to trust in our team, and that has been making a difference in everyday life in the competitions. That's definitely important, the Coach passing his confidence on to the players."
