"I hadn't scored for more than a year - I thought I had forgotten how to," Luciano joked. "We have the right team spirit and mentality and the important thing is not to give up.
"We are 10 points short of safety and we need to get them as soon as possible."
Luciano has been at Chievo since 2000 when he arrived with a false passport under the name Eriberto.
"I found a family in Verona and I was immediately impressed by the organisation, the club and they way it works," he said.
"When I retire I would like to continue working with Chievo to repay the club for everything it has done for me.
"I don't think I will be a Coach but maybe I could be a scout in Brazil looking for fresh talent," he concluded.
