Liverpool are serious about winning the Europa League, says midfielder Lucas Leiva.
The Reds are into the last 16 after victory last week over Sparta Prague.
Lucas told liverpoolfc.tv: "We are in the Europa League to win it. Some people are maybe not taking the Europa League too serious but we are. The players and the staff want to win it.
"There are a lot of games to come before we can think of that but we want to do our job.
"For me to be in with a chance of winning my first medal with this club means a lot.
"It's a good competition and maybe it's not the same level as the Champions League, but there are still a lot of good teams about and we have to make sure we do well."
