Lucas Leiva is confident Liverpool can lift the EFL Cup this season.
The Reds defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 on Tuesday night to progress to the quarter-finals and according to Brazilian Lucas, the goal is to go all the way after losing the final to Manchester City last campaign.
"Last year we came very close, but we don't have any European (games) this year and hopefully we can win all three competitions," Lucas told Sky Sports.
"It was very good experience for (the young players), and they will develop. I think the manager showed the trust that he has in the squad and I think it was the right decision."
Daniel Sturridge scored a double as Jurgen Klopp's side deservedly moved through to the final eight of the league cup.
The draw for the quarter-finals will be made following Wednesday night's clash between Manchester United and Manchester City.
