Liverpool have received a boost with news that Lucas Leiva has returned to training.
The Brazilian midfielder has had a torrid time recently, missing most of last season with a knee injury, and has been sidelined since August with a thigh problem.
However, Lucas posted on Twitter today that he was back out on the pitch for the Reds and suggests he could be in line for a match day comeback in the near future.
The 25-year old posted: "Happy to be back and feeling good", before he added: "I hope I will be available soon."
