Luca Toni is eager to hit the ground running at new club Hellas Verona.

Toni left Fiorentina in the summer for the promoted club.

"Would I return to the Viola as a director? I'm not thinking about that right now, as I am only focused on my playing career," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"That is why I chose Hellas, as I can lend a hand to this team."
