The future of Napoli midfielder Luca Cigarini remains clouded.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Atalanta, but he is still owned by Serie A giants Napoli.

"Everything is at a standstill right now," Giovanni Bia told Calcio Sport 24. "All of the negotiations for him are currently on stand-by.

"Fiorentina? I haven't heard from the Viola for a number of days right now and I haven't heard from Atalanta either.

"There is nothing new to report at this time."
