Manuel Neuer will not grace the pitch in Germany's friendly with Australia on Wednesday.
The Bayern Munich and World Cup-winning goalkeeper is struggling with a knee injury and will play no part in the meeting at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion in Kaiserslautern according to die Mannschaft boss Joachim Low.
However, Neuer will return to the line-up for the weekend's Euro2016 qualifier against Georgia in Tbilisi.
"Manuel Neuer will not play against Australia," said Low.
"He has a knee problem so we won't risk him but he will play on Sunday."
