Germany coach Joachim Low has indicated Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann remains the front-runner to claim the number one jersey at Euro 2008.
Speaking to Kicker magazine on Monday, Low had nothing but praise for Lehmann, who has seen his place in the Germany set-up come under threat since losing his starting berth at the Gunners to Manuel Almunia earlier this season.
The 38-year-old was nevertheless given the nod to claim his 53rd international cap in last week's 4-0 win over Switzerland, and Low was happy with the veteran's display despite his recent lack of first-team action.
"He still showed an extreme level of calmness, maintained his concentration and directed the defence," said Low.
"He has a good physical condition, is quick and confident - but nobody has a guaranteed berth."
