Lazio president Claudio Lotito is demanding more respect from the club's fans.

The ultras have raged a long-running battle with Lotito, continually urging him to sell up to new investors, and once again he was jeered as he presented the squad.

"The Lazio fans have to understand the economic efforts that the club is making," said Lotito.

"We made important investments, now I just hope the team can gel quickly to express all its potential."
