Lazio president Claudio Lotito says they will make a new signing on deadline day.
Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz is being linked with the Rome club.
"This story about Yilmaz is all in the media. Nobody can ever say I mentioned him as a target," moaned Lotito on Sky Sport Italia.
"Yilmaz is Turkey's problem. I look at the players I already have, such as Bryan Perea, and we will announce a new arrival on Monday."
The patron refused to drop hints on who this new signing could be, but underlined "Lazio have bought seven players over the summer. All the rest is paper talk.
"As President and owner I am the only one who can say what's happening in my club."
