Lotito: Lazio will consider Man City striker Santa Cruz in January
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has explained why they didn't push through a deal for Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz.
Lotito went well down the road for Santa Cruz, but says he's now happy to wait until January to try again for the Paraguay international.
"We decided to take our time and wait for the market in January to consider whether he will be necessary for inclusion, since in that role we have already Zarate, Floccari, Foggia and Rocchi," said Lotito.
"So we'll talk about him again in the winter (market)."
