Lazio president Claudio Lotito insists they were never interested in new Livorno signing Gaston Cellerino.

Lotito said: "The only people who thought he was coming to Lazio were journalists.

"Lazio never needed a player like Cellerino. We have plenty of depth in attack. I'm happy for (Livorno president Aldo) Spinelli."
