Lazio president Claudio Lotito admits defender Lorenzo De Silvestri wants to leave the Rome club.

"De Silvestri wants to be transfer listed," stated an angry Lotito. "We gave everybody the chance to play last term, then the pitch decides who deserves more.

"If you claim to be attached to the club you have to fight hard and compete for a place. Obviously this is not the case for Lorenzo, so if he wants to go he just needs to find the team with the cash.

"With all due respect he has to be paid the right amount. The transfer market makes the fee."
