Through a well converted first-half penalty; LA GalaxyLandon Donovan led his team to their first win of the season. Speaking to reporters after the game Donovan said, "What we did tonight is we had a complete performance. That's what we haven't done.

"We've had long stretches where we've been good, and we've also made mistakes and given up goals. Tonight we didn't do that. You play like we did tonight, you're going to win games.

"We're getting more comfortable with each other," Donovan continued.

"We watch a lot of tape, figuring out our mistakes. We're more confident in how we're playing. That's why it was so frustrating over the last few weeks because we were close. Now we put it together and got a good result."
