LA Galaxy have acquired Alecko Eskandarian from Chivas USA.

The soon-to-be-26-year old lands at the Galaxy for a conditional 2010 MLS SuperDraft pick and allocation money.

Eskandarian was an MLS All-Star in both 2004 and 2006 and possesses a deadly left-foot which Galaxy coach Bruce Arena has welcomed.

"Which is scarce on our roster," Arena said. "He's a player with a lot of versatility. He can be a valuable asset to our team."
