Lorient are yet to respond to Arsenal's latest offer for Laurent Koscielny.

The Daily Mail says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger made an improved offer for Lorient's Koscielny last Sunday but is still waiting to hear if the £8.2m bid was successful.

Arsenal chose to go with the straight cash proposal after their bid including Francis Coquelin and Armand Traore was knocked back by Lorient last week.
