Abdoulaye Doucoure remains a Watford a player.

Doucoure's proposed loan move from Watford to FC Lorient is off after the two clubs failed to get the deal completed on Deadline Day.

A deal had apparently been agreed and signed late last night, but Lorient were not able to get the deal ratified with the LFP before the midnight deadline in France.

Lorient are in talks with free agent Arnold Mveumba about a possible deal, with a meeting scheduled for this afternoon between Les Merlus and the player's representatives.
