Melbourne Victory Chairman Geoff Lord will step down from his position at the end of the season.

Melbourne Victory Chairman Geoff Lord will step down from his position at the end of the season.

The successful businessman will make way for Anthony Di Pietro after the 2010/11 A-League season it was revealed at tonight’s annual general meeting.

Lord, who has been in charge at the Victory since the A-League’s inception in 2005, will remain at the club in the honorary Chairman’s role once he hands over to Di Pietro.

Di Pietro has been a director of Premier Fruits Group since 1998 and in 2003 was appointed CEO and director of all Premier Group Companies. He is also a non-executive director at the Victory.
