Lookman pushing Everton to sell him to RB Leipzig

Ademola Lookman is pushing Everton to sell him to RB Leipzig.

The Liverpool Echo says Lookman is keen on returning to Leipzig, where he spent the second-half of last season on loan, but Everton have insisted he is not for sale and rejected a bid from the German outfit earlier this summer.

The Bundesliga side have remained in contact with the Blues in the hope of striking a deal and still believe they can agree a fee with Everton before the close of the transfer window on Friday.

Everton boss Marco Silva and the club's director of football Marcel Brands have both made their stance over Lookman's future clear, throughout the summer, and want him as part of the squad this season.

Silva has described the former Charlton Athletic winger as the “present and future" of the club.
