Southampton striker Shane Long insists that the Saints have a lot to look forward to this season.
The Irish striker helped his side to a 1-0 FA Cup third-round win over Norwich City with an injury-time goal on Wednesday night, setting up a fourth-round clash with Arsenal at home.
The south coast club are also involved in the EFL Cup and currently hold a 1-0 advantage over Liverpool from the first leg of their semi-final tie.
"It was a great ball in and I just headed it down," Long told the club's official website of his goal.
"The keeper made a good save, and I think I was in a headlock as I tried to kick the ball in and it squeezed inside the post.
"And both teams have a busy schedule so I think they might have even celebrated that we won the game in 90 minutes!
"It's a hectic month for us with a lot of games and we didn't need 30 more minutes so we can kick on in the FA Cup, and we're still in three competitions which means we're in with a shout."
