West Bromwich Albion recruit Shane Long is set to debut for the club when they meet champions Manchester United on Sunday.
The 24-year old signed from Reading recently and will step straight into the cauldron with his new club as they face the Red Devils at The Hawthorns in the season opener.
Long's signing has already proven to be a good move by Roy Hodgson as last season's 15-goal striker Peter Odemwingie is likely to miss with an ankle injury sustained in a pre-season friendly a couple of weeks ago.
