Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow have denied that they have held discussions with Celtic striker Georgios Samaras or West Ham United's Demba Ba.
Recent reports have suggested that the club was looking to bring in either Greece international Samaras or Hammers first-year player Ba this summer but president Olga Smorodskaya has confirmed that these are simply rumours.
"We are not going to buy either of them," he told sports.ru.
"We are not interested in signing them. We are not even running a special section on the official site, which is named 'Absolute Rumours'.
"We put there the most ridiculous gossip about the team. And refute it. What nonsense people do write about us."
