Lokomotiv Moscow up bid for Tottenham striker Pavlyuchenko

A return to Russia is most likely for Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

The Sun says the Russian striker, 30, clashed with assistant boss Kevin Bond over his lack of first-team opportunities.

He even hurled abuse at boss Harry Redknapp - who was not even at Sunday's session.

Now, even at this late stage in the transfer window, Lokomotiv Moscow are expected to re-enter the race to sign him having recently had a £6.5m bid rejected.

They seem ready to increase that offer to £8m for a player who has scored 42 times in 114 appearances, 43 of them from the bench.

QPR were also previously interested before Tottenham's original asking price of £10m scared them off.
