Loic Remy happy playing anywhere for Chelsea

Loic Remy says he's happy to play anywhere for new club Chelsea.

The French forward moved from QPR to Stamford Bridge for £8.5m in the final weekend of the summer transfer window.

Remy said: "I'm a striker, but the thing is I can adapt myself for any situation.

"I have played on the left and the right side in the past, so I know I can play anywhere in the attacking positions. It's up to the manager where he decides to put me.

"The fans are going to judge what kind of striker I am.

"I am quick and I can score some goals, but I can progress a lot in so many things, so that's why I'm here, to learn and learn fast.

"I spoke with the manager. He is very clever and he knows exactly what he wants.

"He has targets for me and I have a target for myself as well. Everybody wants the best, so the discussion was really good.

"I know he can get the best out of a player and I'm looking forward to working with him."
