Liverpool expect their deal for QPR striker Loic Remy to run without a hitch.

The Reds have agreed an £8.5million fee with QPR for France striker Remy.

The Sunday Mirror says Remy has agreed personal terms on an £80,000-a-week deal after Liverpool triggered the release clause in his QPR contract.

Liverpool went after the 27-year-old French international after deciding Swansea's Wilfried Bony was too expensive at £19m.
