Shaleum Logan says Manchester City teammate Joe Hart convinced him about a loan move to Tranmere Rovers.

The young fullback said: "I spoke to my friend Joe Hart who played here at Tranmere a few seasons ago and he said what a good set up it was here.

"That's why I did not have any worries about coming to Tranmere. It is just the move I wanted."

Logan added: "I hope this loan to Tranmere will give me the chance to play regular first-team football and build up my experience.

"I hope things start to happen for me over the coming year."
