Shanghai Shenhua are convinced they have a deal for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Daily Star says his wife Lalla ­Diakite already checking out schools in China.

Shanghai Shenua are so confident of getting the striker they are even advertising a game on June 24 as 'Drogba Chinese Super League debut'.

Shenua have already signed former Blues team-mate Nicolas Anelka on a £200,000-a-week deal.

And the club are ready to offer the Ivory Coast ace even more to tempt him to the Far East.

A Shenua official said: "Mrs Drogba will check out Shanghai and visit some international schools."
