Middlesbrough defender John Johnson has signed a new two-year contract.
Middlesbrough-born Johnson made his senior debut for Boro as a second-half substitute during the Barclays Premier League game with Chelsea at the Riverside earlier this season.
Johnson spent a month on loan at Tranmere earlier this season making four appearances for the Prenton Park club.
