Hull City's qualification for the Europa League will be a big boost for the local economy.
Experts say the value and knock-on effects the success could bring cannot be overstated.
Football finance expert Rob Wilson, of Sheffield Hallam University's Sport Industry Research Centre, told the Hull Daily Mail: "Hull will benefit from the Europa League and could net £8m to £10m if they get to the later stages of the competition.
"There will be the economic benefits of upwards of £2m a game for the local economy. You can expect a full stadium and maybe 3,000 to 4,000 fans travelling to Hull for the game, who will stay overnight and spend money on hotels and restaurants.
"With it comes more sponsorship, more exposure, an increase in spend and a fabulous marketing opportunity."
